Unlike myself, most people would start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a [insert title of day job here]
by day, and a [insert title of night job here]
by night, and this is my website.I exist in
[insert name of place of debt enslavement here],
have a great [insert type of domestic comfort animal here]
named [insert saccharine sweet name of comfort animal here],
and I like [insert name of alcoholic beverage or stronger chosen or prescribed substance for numbing of existential pain].
(And [insert part of lyrics of cheesy pop song here].)
…or something like this:
The XYZ Poetry Corp was founded in 1972, and has been providing quality poetic doohickeys to the public ever since.
Located in RENT Extraction City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people at slightly below poverty levels while extracting maximum value and record profits for our shareholders, and does all kinds of awesome things for the some or other community, or for the planet, we think.
But not me.
I would never do that to you.
