Summer’s first pee

I rested easy
After winter’s freeze-frame
When my bare tootsies
Could come out
With no more cold floors
To blame
So happy to set them free
From woolly slippers
Covering their shame
My toes so tender
After winter’s telling tame
Now they can locomote me
With all their skin
Back in the game
And for this summer’s first pee
Staring out this window’s frame
