Buying into the lie
Of party democracy
Following the carrot
Into the noose
Of U.B.I.(*2) money for free
Like,
When did billionaires
Suddenly start wanting
To share
Or give a hoot
About you and me?
We’re just messy meaty resources
On a spreadsheet to
Them
Numbered Risk Units
In their actuarial sciences
Consumers for more and more product
That the world doesn’t want
And that the world doesn’t need
But Lemmings will demand
What Lemmings must obey
With Lemming social media
Controlling algorithmic Lemming social decay
And we’re all
Marching happily along
One cute artificial
Cat video clip after another
Over an artificial cliff
Into a new artificial day
Let’s hope that day has a sun
The warmth of which shines on us all
For if not,
Don’t say there were Lemmings who never warned us about it all…
