I don’t like it when writers break the fourth wall.
In fact I find it jarring and completely unwelcome in any medium.
I have zero interest in reading about how intimidating a blank page is to you.
I don’t care even in the slightest for your anxiety about having to pick up a pen for writing.
And no matter how well you can word-smith, I will never care how good your turns of phrasing are in describing your agony about the writing process.
Your clever linguistics will not help you.
I DON’T CARE.
Write in the first person, all you want, but do not write about writing.
It’s the quickest that you will get yourself judged by me.
Hard.
