NPC = Non-Playable Character – the name for a background digital character which fills out the imaginary world of a video game. An NPC could be a creature, or it could be any one of the background “humans” that you cannot take control of in a game.

I am not a hard-core Luddite. I love software tools for manually writing things, manually editing photos, manually creating songs, and manually creating 3D artwork, and I am delighted with the increasing power of the hardware and the apps so that I can do more complex things and do them faster. Emphasis on – I do things.
I do not condone or support the use of AI tools that automatically churn out variations of slop that is composed of people’s stolen work, nor do I endorse this lemming-like mentality in society, rushing us off a cliff on which millions of humans are losing their livelihoods. Wake up!!
